Background Information

Destination ImagiNation Inc. is the oldest and largest non-profit, world-wide creative problem solving organization. Its Flagship program, Destination ImagiNation®, designed originally for ages kindergarten through university, teaches participants the art and skill of creative problem solving and how to use these creative and critical thinking skills in their personal and professional lives.

A number of years ago, CPEx Executive Director Tom Mauro, an organizational foundation leader of Destination ImagiNation and former member of Destination ImagiNation, Inc. Board of Trustees; Roger Garriock, formerly with IBM Canada, and now Vice-President of DIcor® (DI, Inc. Corporate Consulting); and Robert Purifico, DI, Inc. President and Executive Director, recognized that these techniques are applicable in adult organizations as well and began development of a corporate consulting program to train the staff of organizations like yours in these innovation techniques.
